When will my order ship?

Orders are packed in our studio in Bowral, Australia and most orders are shipped within 24 hours of purchase. When you place an order you’ll receive an email with your order summary, and once we send your order you’ll receive a shipping confirmation.

How can I find out about the status of my order?

To check on the status of your order, please email us for an update. Alternatively, if you have an Australia Post tracking number you can check on the status of your order through the Australia Post website: https://auspost.com.au/mypost/track/#/search

How much does shipping cost?

Standard parcel post delivery within Australia starts at AU$10.60. Express post delivery within Australia starts at AU$12.30.

New Zealand customers can also choose between standard and express delivery. Standard delivery to New Zealand starts at AU$15.20. Express delivery starts at AU$30.20.

For countries other than New Zealand, standard international delivery starts at AU$18.90, and delivery takes 6+ business days. Unfortunately express delivery is not available outside Australia and New Zealand at this time.

If there are items in your order that ship separately, there are no additional shipping costs. You will only be charged the amount you were quoted during the checkout process.

What is your returns policy?

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of parcel receipt. Send us a full description with photos and a copy of the original receipt and we’ll arrange a refund or exchange immediately. Unopened orders can be returned within 14 days for a full refund. We’ll credit your original method of payment, excluding shipping costs. Once we receive your item(s), refunds are processed within 3 business days.

Do you send physical gift cards?

No. Gift cards are sent via email with unique digital codes. Gift card emails feature the image you see on the Gift Card purchase page.

Gift cards can be redeemed by entering the digital code on the checkout page.

Do your gift cards expire?

No. Our gift cards never expire.

Can I split an order between a gift card and a credit card?

Yes. If your order exceeds the amount remaining on your gift card, the balance can be paid using standard payment methods.

Can I use part of my gift card for an order?

No. The full value of the gift card is always applied to the purchase.

Can I set a specific time to send an email to a gift card recipient?

No. If you wish to send an email at a later date, the best way to do that is by selecting the ‘Email to You’ option at checkout, then forwarding the gift card to your recipient at the desired time.

How do I care for my tray?

Wild Trays are dishwasher safe, but you can extend the life of your tray by hand washing. If you need to put your tray in the dishwasher, we recommend that you use the top shelf. If you are not using your tray for food service, you can just give your tray a gentle wipe with a wet cloth.

Can I put my tray in the oven?

No. Wild Trays are not oven-proof or microwave safe.

Are your products eco-friendly?

Yes. All the trays we create have been carefully considered in terms of their impact on the environment. The base material in our trays comes from FSC®-certified birch, and the designs are printed with water-based inks. There are no solvents used in production which means our waterways stay cleaner.

Our trays need to travel from Europe and this increases energy costs. However, we haven’t been able to find high quality manufacturers close to our customer base (yet). On balance, we’ve chosen responsible handmade producers from further afield. Now we just need to get them to move to Australia! (Come on guys, we’ve got koalas! And lamingtons!)

In creating our trays, we also strive to follow the principles of Building Biology - an environmental science that considers the impact of manufacturing on human health. So much of what we produce in the world comes from factories where occupational health and safety standards aren’t up to scratch. As consumers, we’re bombarded with hundreds of different chemicals each day, but if you’re working in the manufacturing industry, your exposure level to toxic chemicals can be much higher. We think it’s important to collaborate with mindful organisations that care for the health of their workers. That’s why we’ve chosen manufacturers who are transparent about their processes and proactive about protecting employees from harmful substances.

Are the colours and patterns on your website accurate?

The patterns on our trays are placed by hand (not machines) which means that sometimes there are slight variations in pattern placement. Slight variations in pattern placement are, in essence, the ‘mark of the maker’.

While we make every effort to represent colours accurately, monitors and displays often render colours differently. If you would like further information about colours before making a purchase, please contact us noting your preferred tray selection.
